KAANSH FLOWERS BLOOM IN THE LANDSCAPE OF HAZARIBAG

Come August Hazaribagh landscape gets dotted with tall fluffy flowers across the landscape. They are the Kaansh. When monsoon slowly ends and Autumn arrives with clear blue skies and spotless white clouds which float in it, the earth is tempting green the white kaansh heightens the beauty of all around.

When the breeze blows the kaansh too softly sways in the wind. In the full moon night when the milky white light falls soflty on the silvery kaansh, the beauty of these wild flowers assumes a different magnitude. There is magic all around.
Kaansh apart from beckoning the coming of Durga Puja has inspired a lot many film makers like Satyajit Ray to numerous poets .

White kaansh on green grass under the blue sky is sheer poetry.
